These terms cover the website only. Painting and decorating work is done under a separate written quote and contract, which will set out the terms for that job.

This website is run by Colours 4 U Painting & Decorating Pty Ltd (ABN 58 151 218 030, ACN 151 218 030), a painting and decorating business in Sydney, New South Wales. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company, and "you" means the person using the website.

Using this website
You may use this website to learn about our services and to contact us. You must not:
- use the website for anything unlawful, or in a way that could harm us or anyone else
- send false, misleading or offensive information through our forms
- try to get unauthorised access to the website or the systems behind it
- use automated tools to send messages through our forms or copy content from the website in bulk

We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is general information only. It is not advice about your particular property. We may change or remove content at any time.
Some photos on this website are stock images used for illustration, and are not photos of our own jobs. Photos and descriptions show the kind of work we do. Results on your job will depend on the surfaces, their condition, the products chosen and the site conditions. Colours on a screen can look different from paint on a wall, so please check colours using real samples.
Quotes, prices and our work
Quotes are free. Nothing on this website is an offer to do work or a fixed price. Sending us a quote request doesn't create a contract. A quote is only binding once we give it to you in writing, usually after we have looked at the job.
Written quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise. Any work we agree to do is governed by our written quote and contract. If there is a conflict between these terms and that contract, the contract applies.
For residential work in New South Wales we follow the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW). This includes holding the right contractor licence and giving you a written contract for residential work valued over $5,000 (including GST). For residential work, any deposit we ask for will not be more than 10% of the contract price.
Your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those guarantees or any other rights you have by law that cannot be excluded.
Sending us information and photos
When you send us details or photos through this website, you confirm that:
- the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- you are allowed to share the photos, and you have permission from anyone who appears in them
- you have permission to share any details about other people you include, such as a tenant or owner
You keep ownership of your photos. You allow us to use them to assess, quote and carry out your job. We won't publish them on our website or social media without asking you first.
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Our content
The text, images, illustrations, logos and design of this website belong to us or to people who have licensed them to us. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You must not copy, reproduce or use our content for any other purpose without our written permission.
Dulux is a registered trade mark of DuluxGroup (Australia) Pty Ltd. We refer to it because we are a Dulux Accredited Painter. We are an independent business and are not owned by or acting for Dulux. Stock photos are used under the Unsplash licence.

This website may link to other websites, such as paint makers or review sites. We don't control those websites and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Our liability
We take care to keep this website working and secure, but we can't promise it will always be available or free from errors or viruses.

Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it is limited to supplying the relevant services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
